Static Fabric Engineer/Carpenter £41/45k  – Chelsea Barracks

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located at Chelsea Barracks in London for a Fabric biased multi-skilled Engineer. The Fabric biased multi-skilled Engineer is responsible for carrying out quoted repair works as well as assisting the rest of the team with any other works on site. Works are varied but include drainage, roofing, joinery, repairs to walls, doors, ceilings, roofs, high end light fitting, sink and bathroom replacements and making good. In addition, successful candidates will support other skilled trades where they have the necessary qualifications and experience to do so, making them vital in the delivery of the company's one-stop solution for both commercial and residential customers.

Mainly working on quoted works.

Qualifications

Multi-skilled with a bias towards Fabric works

City & Guilds in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent

Up to date knowledge of building trade legislation

Able to understand and interpret technical drawings and manuals

Excellent carpentry and joinery skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an approachable and flexible attitude

Salary and benefits

·         Negotiable depending on experience ranging from £41,000.00 -45,000.00 

·         20 days holiday p.a. plus bank holidays, rising a day per year after 3 years of continuous service
