Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (North / Central London Area)
 
My client are a mechanical engineering who have been in operation for over 50 years providing mechanical engineering solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients.
 
 
THE ROLE
 
The role of the mechanical maintenance engineer is to Primarily working across our university/ college  Contracts with some work across home counties expected to cover sickness / holidays if needed
 
Looking after the planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical plant and heating / hot water systems (plant rooms mainly)
 

• Hot and cold water systems
• Pumps/Valves
• Calorifiers
• Mechanical plant room PPM’s

 
 THE PACKAGE:
 

• £40/45K Basic
• 40 hours week Monday to Friday
• Working hours from 0800 hours to 1630 hours (30 minute lunch)
• Travel in excess of 30 minutes at the start and end of day and outside of the core hours will be paid
• Call Out Rota 1 in 9 paid at x1.5 door to door with £200 per week standby fee paid
• SSP and SHP (28 days in total including bank holidays)
• Overtime available
• Van and fuel card provided
• Uniform provided
• Tablet and phone (And full training) provided
• We provide all RAC equipment (Including scales, gauges, vac pumps, hoses, pressure washers and PPE)
• Engineer provides own hand tools
• Auto enrolment pension
