💰 Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Are you a recent graduate or ambitious technician looking to kickstart your career in civil engineering? A well-established civil & transport engineering consultancy in London is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer or Civil Technician to join their dynamic team.
About the Company
This consultancy specializes in Drainage Design, Flood Risk Assessments, Highway Design, Transport Assessments, and Travel Plans, primarily serving housing developers. While most projects are residential, they also work on commercial developments and care homes.
The Role
As part of the team, you will gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle. With support from senior staff, you will contribute to:
✔ Drainage & highway designs
✔ Transport planning services
This is a diverse role where your work will be split:
🛣 60% on drainage and highways
🚦 40% on transport planning
Software Exposure
You’ll gain experience with industry-standard tools, including:
🔹 Micro Drainage
🔹 Civils 3D
🔹 AutoCAD
🔹 QGIS (mapping)
🔹 Word & Excel
🔹 Arcady & Picardy
