THE ROLE – Trainee Quantity Surveyor / Estimator
They are seeking a Trainee Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join the team.
Monday – Friday / 8am – 5pm
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will be responsible for assisting in the measurement, costing and procurement of mechanical services for our construction projects. You will work closely with our experienced Quantity Surveyors & Estimators to ensure that all aspects of the M&E services are properly accounted for and accurately estimated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the measurement and quantification of M&E services for construction projects.
- Assisting in the preparation of detailed bills of quantities for tendering purposes.
- Assisting in the procurement of M&E services, including the preparation of tender documentation and assessment of tenders.
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers to obtain quotes for M&E services.
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for M&E services.
- Assisting in the assessment and valuation of variations and claims for M&E services.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly cost reports for M&E services.
- Ensuring that all M&E services are accurately accounted for and properly documented.
SALARY & PACKAGE
£20,000 - £24,000
