Position: Graduate Structural Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Graduate Structural Engineer to join our client’s forward-thinking and expanding engineering team in Manchester. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for recent graduates to gain invaluable hands-on experience while working on a variety of exciting projects across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, analysis, and detailing of structural systems and components for diverse building and infrastructure projects.
  • Support senior engineers in creating technical drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to evaluate conditions and ensure designs align with specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals.
  • Help enhance and refine design processes and procedures.
  • Prepare project documentation and liaise with clients on project-related matters.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • Solid understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools is a plus, though training will be provided.
  • A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to take initiative.
  • Ambition to achieve professional qualifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer status through ICE or IStructE).
