Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer – Hampshire - 49,500

I am currently representing a leading BMS Controls and heating specialist who are in search of a commercial gas engineer to join a growing team within Southampton and surrounding areas. They provide a full comprehensive range of commercial / industrial heating and ventilation services for over 30 years to various high end premises in Surrey & London.

With a large team of gas engineer due to growth they are in need of an additional commercial gas engineer to provide service and maintenance to a range of clients. The ideal candidate would be based in or around Southampton / Hampshire areas.

The position is due to growth within the business winning a particular contract in Southampton with the engineer expected to be based there initially 3 days a week with the other 2 supporting their work on the M3 corridor up to Surrey and occasional London works.

The client is very big on training and development and has recently engineers in the business on a variety of courses including manufacturers, air source heat pumps and opportunity to eventually upskill into trend BMS Services.

Primary duties to consist of Service, Breakdown and Commissioning of Commercial Heating Appliances.

In return the client is looking to offer:

• Salary of 49,500 based on a 38 hour working week
• Flexible working hours Monday – Friday (based on 9 - hour day)
• Travel Paid after half Hour EW - after 9 hours this is paid at overtime rates: 1.5 in week / Saturdays & X2 Sunday & bank
• Company Van & Fuel Card – Private use allowed

• Call out 1 in 7 – 150 pound standby – minimum of 4 hours per call
• 23 days annual holiday per annum (excluding Statutory Bank Holidays)

• Industry based training will be paid for by client
• Up to 2 paid wellbeing days will be applied to each calendar year
