This specialist engineering company is looking to hire 2 site technicians to join their onsite assessment team. The role is based in London, however the sites are across London and the South East with occasion for travel further afield. All travel costs are covered and the role comes with a vehicle.

The roles comes with full training (If required) and they are looking for a professional who has experience of working on construction sites with a demonstrable ability to learn new skills, with good communication skills (Both written and Oral) and a clean driving license. They are not able to offer sponsorship for this role so you must be fully eligible to work in the UK. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not neccesary.

The site technician will be required to look at the conditions and layout of the site and produce a method statement and risk assessments for the test required. After the tests are conducted a report of the results is produced and presented to the relevant parties (Internal engineering teams, external clients or authorities.)

The tests fall under 3 main categories, environmental monitoring, geotechnical testing and structural testing. Tests include, but are not limited to, vibration, noise and dust testing, on-site plate bearing tests, anchor testing, pull testing and floor load testing.
