Job Title: Senior Revit Technician (Full-Time, Remote)

Location: Remote (with optional office space in Derbyshire, UK)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) 

Contract Type: Ideally Permanent ( but possibly Contract) 

 
Company Overview:

My client are a forward-thinking structural engineering firm with a fully remote team. With a track record of delivering high-quality structural designs, they use cutting-edge technology, including Revit, for all of their project drafting as well as therr RC detailing work. They are looking for a dedicated Senior Revit Technician to join their dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fully remote environment but has the option to work part-time or full-time from their office in Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural Modelling & Drawing Production: Produce detailed drawings and models for steel, concrete, and masonry structures using Revit.
  • Ability to use and amend legacy REVIT models from previous software releases
  • Reinforced Concrete (RC) Detailing: Carry out RC detailing with precision in Revit. Candidates without RC detailing experience in Revit need not apply.
  • Building-Related Civils: Experience in civil elements related to building structures is a plus.
  • Collaborative Communication: Work and communicate effectively in a fully remote environment via Microsoft Teams.

Key Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Revit: Extensive experience with Revit, particularly in structural steel modelling and some RC detailing.
  • Structural Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel (ideally cold rolled/  light guage and hot rolled steel) also some RC and masonry structures.
  • Remote Work Setup: Consistent availability during work hours, a suitable working environment, and a reliable internet connection.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with the team remotely via Teams.
  • Experience in Civils (Desirable): Knowledge of building-related civil structures is a plus.
 
Work Environment:
  • Remote: This role is primarily remote, and we expect you to maintain regular working hours.
  • Office Option: For those who prefer, our office in Derbyshire is available for part-time or full-time use.
