Led by their esteemed Technical Director, and supported by two Associates and a team of experienced engineers and technicians, they take pride in their diverse portfolio of iconic projects.

Type of Work: Their work spans a variety of sectors, including commercial projects, refurbishments up to £15 million, bridge engineering, conversions, and extensions. They have a strong emphasis on conservation work, undertaking projects in museums, country houses, and notable landmarks such as the extension to Nottingham Castle and Coggeshall – MD House. Their expertise extends to 2-3 storey new builds and high-end houses, with a focus on heritage preservation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality structural engineering solutions for historic and conservation projects.
- Conduct structural analysis, design, and assessment of diverse structures.
- Work closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide innovative engineering solutions.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and assessments as necessary.
- Contribute to the development and growth of the historic structures and conservation practice within the firm.
Person specifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
- Strong interest in historic structures and conservation projects.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial projects, refurbishments, and heritage preservation.
- Familiarity with 2-3 storey new builds and high-end residential projects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Chartered status or working towards chartered status.
- Experience in conservation work, especially in museums and country houses.
