Chris Blunden

Biography

Having completed a Masters degree in civil engineering at Exeter University, Chris worked in the construction industry for nearly 4 years before deciding to move to London and start his career in recruitment. Having worked in both IT recruitment and internal recruitment for one of the major players in city, Chris joined RGB Network in January 2003.

It didn’t take him long to get going as he was the first person in the company to bill £30k in one month and he did this in the 4th month in the company on a brand new desk. He then set records for highest monthly billings (£75,000), highest quarterly billings, highest yearly billings as well as winning the consultant of the year and permanent consultant of the year on a number of occasions.

Having taken over the running of the business as Managing Director in 2012, Chris and his management team have overseen the most profitable and successful time in RGB Network's history.

Despite running the business, Chris is still hands on in recruitment and likes to lead from the front in attitude and billings. Chris' genuine passion and enthusiasm for recruitment and the built environment industry is reflected in every aspect of RGB. Chris gets involved in all aspects of the business, including training new staff. However you will most often find Chris talking to clients and candidates and immersing himself in the recruitment market that he has over 12 years of expertise in.

Outside work his main hobbies are rugby, cricket, football, golf and sea fishing.
